Hiya! I'm Kristine King, the creator behind Floral Familiars.
My work lives in the space of love and loss, quiet keepsakes crafted to honor the animal souls who’ve shared our lives. Guided by empathy, and a reverence for the natural world, I create pieces that transform grief into something gentle, and enduring.
Each memorial is a spell of remembrance, a way to keep your companion's presence close while allowing them to rest, either on your heart, in your hand or at your home. Through bone, bloom, and light, I seek to capture the quiet gratitude we hold for our familiars, whose spirits remain close to our hearts. Every piece I create is a soft "Thank you" to the beings who loved without condition.
I currently work full time at Peaceful Waters Aquamation and part time helping at Loving Hands' Aquamation facility. Pet aftercare is my calling in this lifetime. My fur familiars are my sweet cuddly boy Blu, Biscuit, she is my beautiful Calico who only trusts me and is my little shadow, and most recently Megan, my older lovie who loves to eat my hair and loves forehead kisses.
